McLean-Mercer Regional Library, Riverdale, North Dakota, is headquarters for a consortium of public libraries in the communities of Beulah, Garrison, Hazen, Max, Stanton, Turtle Lake, Underwood and Washburn.

The mission of the McLean-Mercer Regional Library is to provide and promote the development of independent, self-confident and literate citizens through the provision of open access to cultural, intellectual, and informational resources. The mission of the library is to serve and be responsive to the needs of the communities.

Help Wanted: Bookmobile Driver/Librarian

We have a part-time position open for a Bookmobile Driver/Librarian. Bookmobile is a 30-foot diesel-powered Freightliner delivery truck, travels year-round and has a computerized library program.

Requirements: ~Standard ND driver’s license ~High School diploma ~Computer skills ~Detail oriented ~Able to lift & carry 30+ lbs. ~Able to interact well with people of all ages ~Able to work independently ~Make arrangements for routine maintenance ~Other duties as needed or assigned

Approximately 40 hours per month, up to 60 hours per month during the school year. Hourly wage $16.36. Bookmobile is based in Riverdale. Position open until filled. Help Wanted: Part-time Library Aide

We have a part-time position open for a Library Aide. The successful candidate would work in the library to process new materials and assist library staff and patrons as needed. Help Wanted: Custodian

Part-time custodian needed. Help keep the library looking its best! Duties include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, removing garbage, etc. Duties are usually performed after hours. Obstacle Course:

The library has an obstacle course painted on the sidewalk around the building. Run, play hopscotch, make your way through the “water hazard”, follow the alphabet trail and more.
